Squirrel unveils new enterprise tools to simplify menu management for full-service restaurant operators and chains.

Squirrel Systems, a leading technology provider to the hospitality industry, announced new enterprise management tools for its Cloud POS. These new tools have been built based on feedback from some of the industry’s best full-service brands, including SIR Corp, Browns Restaurant Group, The Keg, and Cactus Club Cafe. Introducing enterprise management tools unleashes the full benefits of the Cloud POS for full-service multi-unit restaurant chains. With Squirrel Cloud POS, corporate teams will not only say goodbye to managing mission-critical POS server hardware on-site but will now have access to powerful tools to centralize the management of menus and pricing.

Squirrel Cloud Enterprise Management 

Cloud Enterprise Management extends core POS functionality to address the unique needs of full-service restaurant operators to centralize the management of multi-unit restaurants or chains.

Store Groups to Ensure Integrity: Multiple store locations within a brand can be managed and reported as a restaurant group or chain. Role-based permissions and enhanced security restrict user access to ensure users can only make the changes they’re authorized to make.

Streamlined Menu Management at Scale: Restaurant groups can tailor menus and pricing to the specific needs of their location while keeping consistency across the chain. Menu items can be shared across a store group, and pricing and tax of menu items can be controlled at a store level. Corporate or store-level staff can draft, preview, publish, and schedule menu changes to ensure all locations use the most up-to-date versions.

Enterprise Level Reporting: The solution provides a base Enterprise reporting package and the ability to investigate existing reports at the store level. A universal data API exposes all transaction data for access by in-house or third-party analytics tools.

Squirrel’s Enterprise Management tools will be available for early access with the Cloud POS Full-service Restaurant Edition in Q2 2024.
