Bounce Empire is a 50,000-square-foot revolutionary amusement park in Colorado, filled with exotic adventures, mind-blowing decor, and spectacular fun for all. We offer more than 50 attractions, including hair-raising three-story slides, the world’s longest indoor inflatable obstacle course, and a 360-degree stage for concerts with professional tour lighting and sound systems. Our Bounce Bistro provides an elevated dining experience with locally sourced, hormone-free ingredients from the Bounce Farm, a quality you wouldn’t expect at an amusement park. For adults, we feature a luxurious VIP lounge with high-end massage chairs and an upscale 21+ Rubbish Bar & Lounge. There’s also a massive 160-inch movie screen with recliners and a sports theater. Designed for both kids and ‘big kids’ (adults and parents), Bounce Empire offers relaxation areas where parents can watch their children. With six premium private rooms, it’s the perfect destination for group and team outings, birthday parties, and corporate events.
Could you describe your operation and POS setup?
We run multiple revenue centers within our 50,000-square-foot park, offering over 50 attractions, including 2 bars, 6 private rooms accommodating approximately 200 chairs, 1 terrace patio, VIP lounges with massage chairs, a bistro, and 2 theaters. Currently, we manage operations with 13 point-of-sale terminals, 6 food kiosks, 3 waiver stations, and kitchen automation. Please note that the 200 chairs are only in the private rooms, but guests receive full park access with parties, allowing us to accommodate groups as large as 675 in the venue.
We love the efficiency the kiosks bring, freeing up staff to engage with our guests instead of being tied to the register. Our interconnected system, linking waivers with Squirrel, is the backbone of our operations. The excellent team at M2Suite allowed us to take advantage of Squirrel’s extreme flexibility by connecting the technical dots between systems and creating a truly unique customer experience.
Here’s, in a nutshell, how it works: Customers sign waivers and make payments upon arrival, receiving a wristband as their access key. From there, ordering is as simple as tapping the wristband. We provide free, secure lockers powered by wristbands to store wallets and other items. Our goal is a hassle-and-wallet-free experience so guests can have fun without logistical worries. The Squirrel System is our “source of truth” and plays a vital role in making this happen.
What were your first impressions of working with Squirrel?
We’ve been using Squirrel since day one, and the experience has been fantastic. It’s intuitive and easy to train our staff on, even with our complex operations. The system provides detailed reports on sales and inventory, helping us make informed decisions. Its flexibility has been crucial, especially as we continue to refine our menu and operations.
And what do your staff love most about it?
Our staff loves how intuitive the system is. One standout feature is the seamless integration with our kiosk system, especially for front desk operations. We can quickly input phone numbers, instantly access customer records, issue wristbands, and process payments, which speed up service and minimize wait times for guests. Additionally, during special events like nighttime gatherings or 18+ functions, the ease of the check-in and check-out processes simplifies operations for both staff and attendees, making everything run smoothly.
Would you recommend Squirrel POS, and if so, why?
Absolutely, I would highly recommend Squirrel POS to other restaurants or colleagues without hesitation. On a scale of 1 to 10, as a net promoter, I’d rate it a solid 10. Squirrel stands out because they have the flexibility to work uniquely for our establishment’s needs.
