We’re looking for a Recruitment Specialist with a passion for identifying and hiring top talent. You are experienced with full cycle recruiting initiatives from sourcing, accessing and selecting top talent, building an active pipeline of candidates and coaching and supporting managers in recruitment best practices. This is a 3-month temporary position.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

  • Manage the talent acquisition process from start to candidate selection: developing position profiles, sourcing qualified applicants, screening applicants, coordinate the scheduling of and conducting interviews, checking references and evaluating applicant qualifications
  • Create and execute strategic sourcing plans to attract top talent – both passive and active – using a variety of internal and external resources
  • Maintaining a pipeline of candidates using effective sourcing strategies
  • Recruit in both Canada and US
  • What you bring

    • 3 – 5 years’ full life cycle recruitment experience
    • Experience recruiting for technical roles
    • Strong sourcing, networking and lead generation skills to locate candidates with difficult to find skillsets in local and other markets
    • Excellent relationship building skills and proven ability to provide value added consultative service; experience providing recruitment support in a coaching and advisory capacity to all levels of management
    • Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
    • Integrity and confidentiality
