We are looking for a passionate and experienced Project Manager who enjoys providing innovative solutions and thinking to every project. You have a successful track record of managing ongoing workflow and projects from start to finish, on time and within budget.

As an integral part of Squirrel’s Implementations team, you will work side-by-side with a group of dedicated individuals to implement Squirrel’s Point of Sale system. You will use your project management expertise to enable our customers to use our technology to its fullest potential and in turn, provide amazing guest experiences.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

Project Management:

  • Build detailed project plans for all large and multi-unit chain restaurants
  • Manage project deliverables and milestones within approved timelines and budget
  • Ensuring projects are completed within scope, schedule, budget, and meet the client’s needs
  • Provide risk analysis and contingency plans for each project to improve project success rate
  • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to measure the success of the project and ensure that the project is on target
  • Build and maintain project document repository to record project information and lessons learned
  • Complete project charters for stakeholders to sign off
  • Update and maintain projects using project management tools, such as Asana and MS Project
  • Manage Implementation resource calendars to ensure appropriate resources are assigned to each project
  • Relationship Management:

  • Collaborate with clients, 3rd party contractors/vendors, project stakeholders, and Squirrel peers
  • Reporting

  • Provide weekly status reports on all projects to senior management
  • Leadership and Team Work:

  • Work closely with the Implementations Manager and Implementations Coordinators on project assignments, tasks, and roles
  • What you bring

  • A minimum of 3 years of project management experience. Hospitality project management experience preferred, but not required
  • Project management certification or PMP
  • Excellent organization skills including time management, attention to detail, and multitasking skills
  • Good negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Creative, self-directed, and innovative
  • Proven leadership skill
  • Strong documentation skill
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships throughout the organization, including with the senior management team
  • Experience and ability for continuous improvement process
