We’re looking for a Recruitment Specialist with a passion for identifying and hiring top talent, to enable our customers to use our technology to its fullest potential and in turn provide amazing guest experiences. You have high standards and will push us to be better. You are experienced with full cycle recruiting initiatives from sourcing, accessing and selecting top talent, building an active pipeline of candidates and coaching and supporting managers in policies, best practices and standards in alignment with the vision and strategies of the company.  This role will also be involved in compensation recommendations and coordinating budget planning and reporting for all recruitment activities. This position will initially be a 6 month contract with the possibility of being extended.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the talent acquisition process from start to candidate selection: developing position profiles, sourcing qualified applicants, screening applicants, coordinate the scheduling of and conducting interviews, checking references and evaluating applicant qualifications
  • Create and execute strategic sourcing plans to attract top talent – both passive and active – using a variety of internal and external resources
  • Maintaining a pipeline of candidates using effective sourcing strategies
  • Experience with recruiting in both Canada as well as the US
  • Measure performance, analyze metrics and report Key Performance Indicators to senior management team on a regular basis

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related experience
  • 3 – 5 years’ full life cycle recruitment experience
  • Experience with recruiting in Canada and the US
  • Experience recruiting for technical roles
  • Strong sourcing, networking and lead generation skills to locate candidates with difficult to find skillsets in local and other markets
  • Excellent relationship building skills and proven ability to provide value added consultative service; experience providing recruitment support in a coaching and advisory capacity to all levels of management
  • Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
