Career: Implementations Specialist

We’re looking for an Implementations Specialist with a passion for customer service and training, to enable our customers to use our technology to its fullest potential and in turn provide amazing guest experiences. You have high standards and will push us to be better. You are experienced with successfully implementing new equipment (software and hardware).  Your IT skills enable you to troubleshoot and dive into investigation, diagnostic testing and resolution of system, hardware, software and infrastructure issues.  This position requires travel within North America up to 60% of the time spent in the role.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Install and troubleshoot hardware and software components
  • Provide customer support and technical issue resolution via email and telephone
  • Create training plans and deliver training on Squirrel products to technical and non-technical staff (classroom style, over the phone and remotely)
  • Managing deployment and post-implementation support

Qualifications

  • Related software implementation experience in F&B / restaurants / hospitality industry preferred
  • Previous POS experience an asset
  • Diploma in technical discipline such as Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent
  • Proficient in SQL Server
  • Ability to work well under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Must be flexible with schedule to work days, evenings and weekends as required
  • A vehicle is required for this position
