Squirrel Systems & Ameranth Wireless Announce Partnership
Squirrel Systems, Inc ( www.Squirrelsystems.com ) is pleased to announce that they have entered into a strategic partnership with Ameranth Wireless™ ( www.ameranth.com ) to deliver hand-held point-of-sale solutions to the hospitality industry. Squirrel and Ameranth are developing an integrated solution linking the award winning Squirrel for Windows NT point of sale solution, with Ameranth's advanced handheld application, called the 21st Century Restaurant® system.
Ameranth will interface its Microsoft PocketPC™ hand-held application to the Squirrel Systems "order driver" and enable the large installed base of Squirrel's 10,000+ customers to realize the full power of Microsoft PocketPC™ powered devices. This revolutionary solution will enable servers to take orders and process payments directly at the tables and greatly accelerate the ordering process while optimizing the top and bottom line for restaurants. This solution will dramatically improve efficiency, minimize errors and increase table-turns.
