Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attain target sales goals through monitoring the quantity and quality of activities of the inside sales team and effectively managing to achieve results
- Motivate sales force to sell products through hands on coaching and training, creative competition, and career-development
- Maintain performance standards and set goals to realize Company objectives
- Hiring, training, managing, motivating and developing a team of high quality, success-oriented Direct Sales Representatives
- Conduct weekly meetings with sales representatives to manage pipeline activity, provide sales training, review accounts and ensure maximum revenue growth
- Assist the VP of Sales in formulating and executing sales strategies
- Provide quarterly results assessments of sales staff's productivity and quota attainment as well as be skilled in accurately forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly revenue stream
- Plan and prioritize sales activities effectively managing time and productivity
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers using ethical sales methods, ensuring Squirrel's value proposition and return on investment are effectively communicated and apparent
- Designing business solutions for prospective new chain accounts, while supporting existing implemented solutions
- Execute on implementing strategic sales plans to ensure Corporate goals and growth targets are met
- Optimize activity and internal resources to continually provide an exceptional level of service, redefining customer satisfaction
- Diligently seek to understand the customer?s needs; clearly demonstrate and articulate how Squirrel's industry leading products and services meet and exceed those needs, ensuring ease of business
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities while developing sales strategies and promotions to ensure completive edge
- Coordinate internal resources in staging product demonstrations showcasing Squirrel?s advanced feature set and functionality
- Respond to and follow-up on leads, enquiries, proposals and customized requests in a timely fashion
- Aggressively seek to meet performance goals and targets based on Corporate Plan
- Represent the Organization at outside events (i.e. association meetings, trade shows, conferences etc?)
- Other assigned duties and responsibilities
Qualifications:
As a successful Sales Manager, you have a minimum of five years in a sales management capacity in a solution-selling environment. You are a methodical decision maker who enjoys new challenges. Your calm, rational demeanor and keen enthusiasm are mirrored in those you manage. Motivated by your high desire to succeed, you and your team consistently strive to exceed sales targets.
- Degree in related and appropriate field coupled with a minimum of 5 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional training and Management experience in the foodservice industry an asset
- Possess an in depth knowledge of all Point of Sale applications including peripheral integrated products an asset
- Exceptional relationship building skills; ability to build and maintain profitable mutually beneficial business partnerships / relationships
- Demonstrate a proven ability to close while consistently meeting and exceeding Corporate goals / targets

- Advanced skills at identifying decision-makers and ability to build strong executive relationships
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills; must exude confidence and conviction in presenting return on investment to senior Financial and IT executives
- Ability to understand client needs and demonstrate the impact, value and return on investment of Squirrel Systems? products and services
- Strong consultative, selling, listening, and writing skills coupled with extensive knowledge of how Squirrel products and services can positively impact the organization?s operations and success
- Extensive travel required
