Account Executive - Lodging Sales
Squirrel is looking for a highly motivated and talented Account Executive - Lodging Sales to join our growing Sales Team! Reporting to the Lodging Sales Manager, the Account Executive - Lodging Sales will be a proven sales performer and responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions.
Reponsibilities:- Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and prospective Lodging Customers in an assigned territory to generate and maximize revenue
- Develop and implement action plans for meeting and exceeding sales targets, including identification of sales prospects and follow up
- Deliver dynamic sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Prepare clear and effective written proposals and quotations (including hardware, software, and services) for current and prospective customers
- Coordinate sales and support efforts with sales management, marketing, finance, and other departments as needed
- Work with Implementation team to develop strategies for specific accounts
- Regularly update sales activity in customer relationship management system and prepare reports on expected and potential sales as required
- Participate in tradeshows to promote company and products
- Monitor overall market and provide feedback to management, including competitive activities and potential for new products and services
- Other duties as assigned
- Post Secondary and minimum of 3-5 years related experience or an equivalent combination
- Experience in the Hospitality or Lodging industry preferred with demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Sound consultative selling skills, including identifying and understanding customer needs and making solution recommendations
- Ability to learn and understand highly technical products and services
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of salesforce.com an asset
- Willing to travel

Customer Support Representative

Web Developer
Squirrel is seeking a Web Developer for our e-commerce site to both maintain our existing code and extend it for more functionality. This is a contract position for a specific web project, but several other web projects are planned.
Qualifications:- Post secondary school diploma/certificate in web development or equivalent
- Solid knowledge of software development and design concepts
- Strong background in designing user interfaces, including using image manipulation software, preferred
- Experience developing eCommerce solutions
- Experience developing software solutions using Microsoft .NET, C#
- MS SQL 2008 Database design and programming
- AJAX, Javascript, jQuery
- XHTML/XML/HTML, CSS, XSL, and W3C Standards
- Experience with IIS7 web server software preferred
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
