Vancouver, Canada, – Bob Mackett, President of Squirrel Systems, a leading technology provider to the global hospitality industry, announced today the appointment of Gus Reid to the role of Business Development Manager. A welcome addition to the Squirrel sales team, Gus will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Gus brings a tremendous amount of sales and marketing experience to Squirrel Systems, having spent many years at Epson America, where he served as National Distribution Manager and Program Manager, and gained an industry-wide reputation for developing, managing, and supporting one of the strongest distribution organizations in the point of sale (POS) industry. More recently, Gus was a Regional Sales Director at Wincor Nixdor, an international leader in automated retail technology. With his breadth of knowledge and experience in the POS industry, Gus is sure to make a positive impact to the Squirrel sales team.

Gus joins the recent appointments of John Hall and Lee Ward, sales veterans in the POS industry. Both John and Lee have many years of channel management experience, which enables Squirrel Systems to more effectively support the reseller channel under the direction of Mike Devine, Vice President of Channel Sales.
